Welcome!

I write about learning to become a Systemic Modelling facilitator and related topics.

Asserting My Being #4

Asserting My Being #4

Sometimes my sense of self fades and I feel “too neutral” and “too flexible” — always adapting to the next new situation. I start to build up a sense of self when conditions stay the same. Because of COVID-19, conditions are in flux, and my sense of self is once again feeling pale and unstable. When this happens, I feel the urge to create. Starting from about a year ago, inconsistently, I make “Asserting My Being” booklets for myself. They are for me and so they are not made in way to maximize communication. I’m sharing this one because it happens to be relevant to Systemic Modeling. I’ve been struggling with motivation to keep up SysMod training and learning, but I might have found my way back as a side effect of making this booklet. First, I need to do my self-assigned homework (last page of the booklet) and to feel a “self” again.

There’s obvious bias here in favor of critical reflection. The authors are “striving for” it. It would be possible to rewrite this table in a Cleaner way.
